Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) SPURS
Tevis Junior High School's Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is a school-wide approach to maintaining positive academic relationships and a process for creating a safer and more rewarding learning experience. PBIS is a systems approach to enhance the capacity of Tevis to educate all of our Rangers by developing research-based, school-wide, and classroom expectations. The process focuses on improving Tevis' ability to teach and support positive behavior for all Rangers to benefit from an optimal learning environment. Instructional time is more effectively used for learning and Tevis' overall school environment encourages safety, responsibility, and respect.
